Jonathan Hanson is an accomplished Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager with extensive experience across the full spectrum of construction — from social housing and residential refurbishment through to large-scale new build offices, high-rise residential and high-value complex projects.
Having started his career as an apprentice with a market-leading sub-contractor, Jonathan progressed rapidly through regional and then Tier 1 national main contractors — developing a reputation for commercial rigour, clear thinking and strong client relationships.
Most recently, Jonathan spent five years at Watkin Jones Group as Commercial Manager, overseeing flagship projects across the UK and leading high-performing commercial teams. HCML was founded to bring that same level of expertise directly to clients — whether a national contractor managing complex accounts, or a homeowner trying to protect their budget on a self-build.
HCML are based in Cheshire but available to work nationwide, with excellent travel links to Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham and London. The company also has access to a trusted network of Assistant and Quantity Surveyors who can provide additional resource when required.
